Had a great day today with a bunch if people putting on a craft fair and selling all sort if art inspired goods. The difference was that the people making and selling these items have found themselves in a difficult situation, maybe homeless or working through challenging issues.
Small beginnings today but so proud of the people I work with!
Great to be part of Elim Connect Centre and all they are doing.
These espresso cups are the perfect size for those coffee moments, the cup stands about 7cm high and the pots are dishwasher safe.
For multiple orders do contact me.
The circle print design was inspired by rustic farm house feel with a modern twist, each item is hand made on the wheel and assembled by hand. The decoration is done by stamping in the circle print from a hand made wood carving and then the whole pot is covered in a creamy white slip.
The retro stripe design has seven lines on each side and is elegant but and little bit of a mixture between 70’s and modern style!
Each item is twice fired and has a glossy clear glaze to finish. I have a studio on the farm and it is such a delight to make something that will be enjoyed and used in your own house. I love pottery as each item becomes part of someone else’s story!
These cups are £18.50 each or £65 for four!
Some new work I made the other day, fun trying new shapes, good to have a bit more time in the pottery before it gets too cold! Me and Maria are going to decamp into a smaller heated room for the winter so there will be some more finished work soon!
For the winter I am going to make porcelain again because it’s not so messy, going to do lots of bottles again!
Also gearing up again for Christmas sales hope I get enough done!
